How long does ADR training take?
The base course is 5 days plus a written exam. Specialist extensions (tanker, explosive) add 2–3 days each. Certificates are valid for 5 years and renewed through a combined refresher course.
Which ADR class pays most?
Class 1 (explosives) and Class 7 (radioactive) pay the most but have limited job openings. Class 3 (flammable liquids — fuel, chemicals) is the most common and provides the widest job market.
